Call yourselves Anarchists-and clearly buy right into the Mainstream diversionary tactic being peddled by the Ruling Classes. You watching TV and reading broadsheets and tabloids for your illusionary created perspectives?

OMG you’re absolutely right. We were just about to take over our place of work and turn it into a revolutionary workers council when Bill went and put the bloody telly on… that’s some diversionary tactic that Loose Women, proper reactionary shit.

Don’t worry your Idevness, we won’t be distracted from the cause again… oh wait, is it Corrie tonight?

@Idev, why are you so bothered about people commenting on Jimmy Saville? Mainstream media aside, he is a fucking paedo, should people just ignore people like him? Also, I hardly think that we are distracted from class struggle as a result.

Tell me, would it be wrong to comment on the expenses scandal or the scandal surrounding the Murdoch empire? Bear in mind, all of which were initially reported via mainstream media.

Is Idev in the Nonce-Protection Squad or what, and isn’t the internet largely ‘reactionary’ Many much porn and horseshit? Anyway- I wanted to say- Where would the BBC have been in the 70s without Jimmy SaVile, eh?

      • The Obscene Turtle October 17, 2012 at 7:08 pm #

I think people may have been touching a nerve there on his part. If he wants to continue to live in his fantasy land let him. Attitudes like that have no place in this movement (In my humble personal opinion).

Well, the Jimmy Savile thing touched a nerve with me too- I narrowly avoided being molested/raped when I was 9, and the fact is, there are a damn sight more paedos in positions of power than we know of- See the Kincora scandal, Haute de la Garenne in tax-avoiding freemasonic Jersey and the Marc Dutroux case, plus a host of politicians done for molesting kids and the cover-up of Operation Ore…Too many trolls and people posing as things they are not online.

Very sorry to hear that, it must have been a terrible ordeal.

What I meant by the ‘touch a nerve’ comment was regarding his defence of nonces, I wasn’t implying that the whole thing touched a nerve of his because of what may/may not have happened to him. Anyway, fuck him, he is quite obviously a self-important nutter who just feeds off the trolling and the attention as a result.

Don’t forget the judges and magistrates that are often caught paying for sex with kids. There’s also the case of Hollie Grieg up in Aberdeen, Scotland.

Who cares about Jimmy Savile? He’s dead anyway, so what are people gonna do?

    • The Obscene Turtle October 21, 2012 at 8:42 pm #

Dance on his grave, dig up his body, crush his bones and piss on what is left of him!

Let he who is without sin cast the first stone!

Contrary to what the media would wish, in this country a man is still considered innocent until proven guilty by a jury of his peers. Since the man in question isn’t able to answer the allegations being laid against him in a court of law, I feel it is totally inappropriate to pass judgement either way!!!

We need to move away from this sickening idea of “trial by tabloid” and remember the law decides on matters of justice, not the sub-human tabloid-reading (and I am being generous in crediting them with the ability to read) chavs of this once great nation!

England is going down the toilet and they are dragging it down there.

Incidentally, I suffered abuse as a child so speak with knowledge and experience. Sadly my abuser wasn’t held accountable and my childhood trauma still haunts me but never would I use that experience to hurl accusations at a person who cannot answer to them!!!!!

Jimmy Saville will never face justice so best let it drop and move on eh? Focus effort on dealing with the abusers who still move amongst us and can STILL do incredible HARM.

And my final point (I have left the most important one for last) the incredible number of vulnerable children in this country who are being let down by arrogant, ignorant and totally incompetent Social Workers. Now there is child abuse and these people do it with the support of the public (and their taxes) and at no time are held fully accountable when they get it wrong, something they do with alarming frequency. You try getting one of them to admit they got it wrong let alone apologise for it.

Remember this people – it is much easier to blame a person for their failings as a human being than it is to accept responsibility for one’s own.

“Let he who is without sin cast the first stone!” – I agree and I am certainly not without sin but one thing I have never done is fuck kids (And never will!) so you can’t really lump that old chestnut into criticisms of those who insult Jimmy Saville.

If it were one or maybe two people coming forward without witnesses and with a sketchy story etc. then yes, maybe you have a point. As a child abuse victim yourself, could you imagine, like those coming forward now, if people doubted you and/or called you a liar. So many alleged victims, apparent witnesses and an outright cover-up smell a tad suspicious to say the very least. I am not an expert on this case but I know what I am inclined to believe.

“Remember this people – it is much easier to blame a person for their failings as a human being than it is to accept responsibility for one’s own.” – And just what are you insinuating with that?
