Welcome to the AMP.

The AMP is a loose collection of writers, artists, designers, inventors, programmers, activists and dreamers who have come together to discover, create, distribute and inspire a range of anarchist propa-propaganda with the goal of introducing as many people as possible to the ‘beautiful idea’.

Membership of the AMP is open to anyone who holds – and ideally lives by – anarchist and libertarian principles and believes that people are generally decent and intellectually, emotionally and physically mature enough to take control of – and responsibility for – their own lives without recourse to the outdated notions of state, hierarchy and/or government (as Edward Abbey said Grown men do not need leaders”).

When it comes to anarchy we are 100% Anarchism without Adjectives (as Fred Woodworth says “I have no prefix or adjective for my anarchism. I think syndicalism can work, as can free-market anarcho-capitalism, anarcho-communism, even anarcho-hermits, depending on the situation.”). We are anti-sectarian and welcome all strains of libertarian thought because we believe that a truly free world is one that is united through diversity. We also believe that, in a rapidly changing world, human philosophy must strive for plasticity if it is to meet future needs. Our knowledge and technology changes at an exponential rate, every decade we know more about the world and are able to manipulate it in ways that few people previously thought possible, but politics remains centuries out of date. Its time for something new.
